Here are some cutaway images of the pod decks - the red anodized aluminum plates are there in case of sudden stops or acceleration. Picture #2 features your nitelite (1 in each pod) just because we know some people are going to get in that last run and it'll be dark by the time you get to the parking lot. :-)
